The Big T-Off Design

Because of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Buffalo Ad Club couldn’t have their usual in-person Big Tip Off event to raise money for their scholarship fund. So, for a more socially distanced solution, they decided to host a t-shirt design competition to raise the money instead. The event was sponsored by 26 Shirts, and the designs needed to relate to the year of our Lord 2020 somehow. The Cultivators at FARM worked on different ideas and designs, and we as an agency voted on the final design to submit to the Ad Club’s competition. Going off of an idea the Executive Creative Director had come up with, I tweaked it a bit and created this design you see here, a frog and locust chilling beneath an umbrella, surprised that the people of earth seemed to be expecting them already. It was quite the dismal year so why wouldn’t it rain locusts and frogs?
