Personal Sketches

Because you gotta keep the ideas flowing….

The one constant in my life from when I was a kid to now is that I’ve always loved to sketch. I’d get so excited when my family got me new sketchbooks and art supplies for Christmas or my birthday that I’d immediately get to drawing amongst the shredded wrapping paper. I still get that little bump of excitement when I buy a new Moleskine, Micron markers, or pick up my iPad and open up the Procreate app.

I think the most important thing about sketching is that it inspires new ideas. You could come across a rough sketch you did years ago and it can inspire a drawing, logo, or even an element in a plain design layout that you’re working on now. So, with that said, here’s a slice of sketchbook fun below.
