Pennies to Heaven is an annual event that OLV National Shrine & Basilica hosts every year during Father Baker Weekend on Father Baker Day. Father Baker Day Mass is held, and then parishioners have the opportunity to participate in the “Penny Drop,” where people drop their spare change on the ground in front of the Basilica as a donation to the church. After mass, parishioners and the public have a chance to participate in the food, drinks, activities, and live entertainment that go on all day to bring the community together.

I liked the idea of a penny graphic with angel wings as a fun yet descriptive graphic to show what the event is all about. Paired with some fun type, the logo came together below.
