Stockwave Wholesale Sourcing Secrets Direct Mailer

In 2019, vAuto, an automotive tech company, came to FARM for an independent dealer-driven direct mail piece for their wholesale sourcing solution Stockwave. We wanted to push the overall message that this was something exclusive for independent dealers, smaller car dealers who don’t have the power of a large franchise behind them. To push the feeling of exclusivity, we created a piece with messaging that you gradually unfold to get to the deal, the overall theme being that these dealers have insider access to wholesale sourcing secrets. The client was ultimately really happy with this direct mail piece, and they thought it got their desired messaging across perfectly.
This is one of my favorite pieces I’ve designed at FARM. I used smooth stone textures and marbled, smokey-looking backgrounds to create an atmosphere of a piece that’s sleek and maintains an air of mystery. I thought this was a great compliment to a piece that almost acts like an invitation to an insider’s club. And while the outside has that smooth blue stone texture and is very monochromatic, the large, silver spot-printed letters draw you in on the back to open it. And as you open up the piece you start to see different graphic pops of info that pertain to what Stockwave does and more background info on how it can help dealers. As you finally open it all the way, we thought it would be cool to have an actual silver card with the offer, giving you a personalized code reminiscent of an exclusive membership card. You’re an indy dealer, and indy dealers can be part of the Stockwave club to compete with the franchises.
