The American Cancer Society of Western New York had come to FARM seeking branding for their annual Derby Dash event. They titled it Derby Dash Soiree, and they wanted branding that was a little more elegant than what they had done in the past to go with the dressed up soiree theme. I came up with a few options and they ultimately landed on this logo here with an illustrated mint julep, supported by contrasting serif and script fonts. ACS was very pleased with this option and we used it in the branding of their supplemental materials. Although they weren’t able to have the actual live event due to the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, they were able to have a virtual event in September of 2020.
